
This is an exceptional opportunity for an Account Director with at least eight years’ experience leading experiential marketing strategy, account management and event activations for Automotive brands. In this role you will own client relationships, shape experiential strategy, and oversee flawless execution from concept development through program delivery. Automotive experience is required for this role.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the strategy, planning and execution of innovative experiential marketing initiatives for regional luxury automotive client and local dealer groups in the Eastern Region, ensuring alignment with overarching brand goals.
Develop and present recommendations to automotive dealer groups with concepts and ideas that ladder into broader brand strategy.
Lead research and development of new experiential strategies, uncovering opportunities for client growth.
Manage and mentor a team of 3-5 individuals fostering employee development, collaboration, and overall performance.
Serve as the primary point of contact and accountability for clients, ensuring all expectations and objectives are met and exceeded.
Identify, negotiate and oversee regional partnerships, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
Direct appointed vendors and suppliers, source new partners, and oversee competitive bidding processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Build and manage detailed event timelines, budgets, and operational plans, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
Identify opportunities for improved operational efficiency and service excellence, making recommendations for consideration.
Oversee the development and delivery of post event recaps, reporting performance measurement and translating results into clear insights and actionable recommendations for clients.
Maintain and update standard operating procedures and emergency response documentation as required.
Manage product and brand ambassador training as applicable.
Branding and fabrication plan creation, management, and execution.
Consult and support logistics of multifaceted events, placing vendor/rental orders, ADA compliance, security, secure all applicable insurance and permitting as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years’ experience at an experiential/event marketing agency, showcasing success in account management, client services and team leadership.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in automotive marketing is required.
Proven ability to serve as a senior client partner, managing complex relationships with clients, dealer groups and internal stakeholders.
Ability to travel approximately 50 days per year to support client/dealer meetings and event activations.
Excellent verbal & written communication, project management, and prioritization skills.
Attention to detail & and ability to multi-task.
Proven ability to manage partner and vendor relationships.
Ability to effectively create and manage budgets.
Strong manager with great planning, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
