Assistant Production Manager

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunityfor a detail-driven creative production professional to join the GSE Live team. The Assistant Production Manager will support the Production Manager in delivering best-in-class branded creative and print production across GSE’sportfolio of sports, entertainment, and experiential marketing clients. The ideal candidate blends strong design skills with production expertise - someone equally comfortable building production-ready files as they are managing vendor timelines and asset delivery. This role is perfect for a hands-on creator who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and wants to grow within a team that produces high-profile brand activations.

Responsibilities:

•      Support the Production Manager in managing print production workflows, including signage, collateral, display assets, andl arge-format applications for client brand activations and live events.

•      Execute branded creative across multiple formats - digital, print, social, and event-based - translating concepts into accurate, production-ready files.

•      Prepare, package, and preflight files ensuring proper resolution, color profiles, scaling, and formatting for final delivery across digital and print mediums.

•      Adapt and version assets across multiple platforms, formats, and sizes to support campaigns, activations, and events.

•      Coordinate with print and fabrication vendors on quoting, proofing, and delivery, ensuring all assets meet in-hands dates and quality standards.

•      Ensure all work adheres to strict brand standards while maintaining a fresh and engaging creative approach across all client touchpoints.

•      Collaborate with creative, account, strategy, and marketing teams to maintain visual consistency and support production needs across projects.

•      Optimize designs for platform-specific requirements including social, web, email, broadcast, and environmental applications.

•      Review layouts, typography, imagery, and graphics for accuracy, alignment, and quality assurance prior to release.

•      Support file organization, asset management, version control, and production documentation across active projects.

•      Troubleshoot production or formatting issues and provide solutions to maintain design integrity under tight deadlines.

•      Create internal and external collateral including proposal graphics (infographics, charts, maps), presentation design, and marketing materials.

•      Assist in developing visual solutions that enhance client brand storytelling and marketing activation initiatives.

Qualifications:

•      Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).

•      2–4+ years of experience in a creative, agency, or production environment.

•      Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); After Effects and SketchUp experience is a plus.

•      Solid understanding of design principles including layout, typography, and composition.

•      Experience preparing production-ready artwork across digital and print mediums, including large-format and environmental applications.

•      Knowledge of file formats, color management (CMYK/RGB/Pantone), and production workflows.

•      Familiarity with print substrates, materials, hardware, and vendor management.

•      Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.

•      Detail-oriented with strong organizational and file management skills.

•      Strong communication skills and ability to take direction and execute efficiently.

•      Familiarity with social media trends, platform specs, and digital best practices.

•      Experience in sports, live events, or experiential marketing is a plus.

•      Ability and willingness to travel, including nights and weekends as needed.
