13. Data Processed on Behalf of Clients

In addition to the personal information we collect through our own website and business operations, GSE also collects and processes personal information on behalf of our clients in connection with event registrations, experiential activations, sweepstakes, and marketing communications (such as email campaigns sent via Mailchimp).

When GSE collects or processes personal information on behalf of a client, the client is the data controller and GSE acts as a service provider/data processor. The collection, use, and sharing of that information is governed by the respective client's privacy policy — not this Privacy Policy. If you have questions about how your personal information is used in connection with a client's program or event, please contact that client directly or refer to the privacy policy displayed on the applicable program website.

GSE's obligations regarding client data are governed by contractual agreements with each client, which include data protection provisions addressing security measures, breach notification, and data handling requirements.
