Account Manager, Hospitality Events and Program Operations

Job Description:

This position is an opportunity for an events professional with five to seven years in event planning, registration, VIP hospitality, or large-scale program logistics. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, calm under pressure, and skilled at managing executive level communication. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, and comfort working directly with executives, hotels, and vendors.

The Account Manager supports the planning and execution of 7 to 10 programs annually and will serve as the operational lead for one marquee program. Programs typically range from 20 to 250 attendees over multiple days and venues and include attendees, guests, clients, senior executives, and other high touch guests. Travel is required for onsite lead and support execution.

Job Duties

• Ability to support the planning of events ranging from intimate VIP gatherings to complex multi-day programs with up to 300 attendees.

• Lead the full registration lifecycle across all assigned programs, including attendee data, rooming lists, guest communications, and reporting.

• For assigned programs, serve as VIP and executive travel lead, providing concierge-level support.

• Build strong relationships across clients, internal teams, partner agencies, and vendors.

• Serve as the primary owner of all program management documents, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and real time updates throughout the planning lifecycle.

• Manage document version control and ensure all materials are client ready for internal and external meeting

• Provide constant attention to detail regarding the execution of components.

• Operates servant leader and willing to do what it takes to get the work done.

• Partner with internal teams, partners, and vendors to ensure program alignment.

• Own and manage progran decks for cleint programs

• Create and maintain timelines, status docs, run of shows, and planning documents.

• Support budget tracking and event reconciliation.

• Provide onsite support including check-in, registration desk management, onsite room troubleshooting, dine-around leadership, and guest services.

• Assist with broader event logistics such as activities, meals, transportation, and hotel operations.

• Execute additional projects and event needs across the GSE Live portfolio as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• 5 plus years in event planning, hospitality, or registration management.

• Skilled at executive-level communication and hospitality.

• Calm, solution oriented, and comfortable with shifting priorities.

• Detail driven, timeline-focused, and adept at juggling multiple workstreams.

• Equally confident working independently or collaboratively.

• Passionate about high touch guest experience and hospitality.

• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to travel up to 40 percent.
