
Genesco Sports Enterprises is looking for an innovative, results oriented, self-motivated individual to become part of GSE’s DC team. The Manager will work closely with the Client to develop and execute programs that leverage sports and community partnerships to drive business objectives. The Manager will support the Client on the day-to-day program development and asset usage of current sponsorships.
• Oversight of the sponsorship assets within the Client’s partnerships during all phases: planning, in-season, and post-evaluation
• Provide strategic activation recommendations to Client on all sponsorship assets
• Oversight of individual action plans for the sponsorships
• Coordination with Client on creative requests
• Creation and maintenance of asset tracking systems
• Assist in creation of Client sponsorship measurement dashboards
• Creative approvals on all marketing collateral
• Ticket/Activation Fund management (in collaboration with Client)
• Site visits, in-person meetings and status calls with partnership representatives
• Status calls with Client for updates, ideation, and strategy discussions
• Participate in cross-functional strategy/planning calls with Client external agencies as needed
• In-person planning/strategy meetings with Client
• Lead or assist Client on-site activations at events (some nights and weekends)
• Provide Client with industry best practices and intel
• Partner with Client in content creation for digital and social channels
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3+ years of sports experience in an agency, property or brand role preferred
• Ability to multitask in a fast pace, dynamic environment
• Ideal candidate will be extremely professional with ability to communicate with mid and senior level clients and partners, forward-thinking with open mind to new ideas, and the ability to fit into the GSE work environment of extremely driven and dedicated individuals
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills)
